1. Collect Syllabus Signatures/Update calendars

2. Complete your paper vocabulary charts/keep until next week.

3. Complete Barrio Boy Re-read 1 if you have not.

4. Complete and improve Think Questions for ELA if you have not (I reopened them to you.)

5. Begin the Unit 1 Preview - new assignment. More time on Monday.

6. Due Dates: 

1. Full August calendar with all assignment due dates due at the end of the month.
2. Barrio Boy Re-Read 1 due today (Vocabulary and Using Language)
3. Barrio Boy Vocabulary sheet due Monday
4. Unit 1 Preview due Monday night

1. Collect Syllabus Signatures/Update calendars

2. Study Sync - Reread 1: Barrio Boy 

1. Have students reread or listen to the story (if they have headphones)

2. Have them add words to the New Vocabulary Chart (on paper) they started yesterday. I want them to have 5-10 new words. They google the definitions. Due tomorrow end of class.

3. Have them work together on the last tab of the assignment called Using Language.

4. If they need additional time on their Think Questions for ELA, they can work on those too. Tell them to proofread carefully.
