1. Update August Calendars

2. 10 minutes silent AR Reading (myON or a book in your level)

3. Discussion whole class - Topic:  How has your week been? What was hard this week? 

4. Those not finished with i-Ready Reading Diagnostic should work to complete it.

5. Those not done with Barrio Boy Close Read (1st and 2nd periods should work on it). 7th period will have the whole period.

5. Extra time:  Silent reading/work from other classes/Typing Club (Use your time wisely!)

1. AR point goal of 2 points due by progress report

2. August calendar due August 31 (paper)

Wednesday

Agenda: 

1. Update August Calendars

2. Silent Reading/AR Testing/ picking out books MyON

3. Barrio Boy WRITE your first draft. Use your Bookmarks. At least 5 sentences. Don't forget the E at the end. Remember to tell BOTH something he THOUGHT and something he LEARNED. Cite strong evidence from the text that proves it. 

4. Extra time:  the annotations or vocabulary if not done

2. Take out Vocabulary Charts to turn in today by end of class

3. Silent Reading/picking out books MyON

4. Go over the Barrio Boy WRITE assignment to prepare for tomorrow. Begin your first draft. Use your Bookmarks. At least 5 sentences. Don't forget the E at the end.

4. Extra time:  ELA vocabulary if not done
